I’ve recently taken to painting plants and flowers as realistically as possible using watercolour.
This set of paintings were based mostly on people with their dogs, who I met on my walks.
I used both watercolour and gouache for these. I was having a break from painting for my books.
These were the paintings from the book “Jenny Wren to the rescue”. You can see an improvement from previous books.
These are the original paintings from the “Jay who lost his feathers”.
These paintings were some of my earlier work from the Bobbie Robin book. They look very incomplete now.
